Drive is Bic Runga's first album, and remains my favourite to this day. She made it to stardom in NZ with this album.
I like it because it is more rocky than the rest. Her amazing voice always comes through in her songs, but in Drive, it is combined well with strong guitars and drums.
Songs like Sway, Drive and Bursting Though are timeless and will always rank as some of my favourite songs (from any band/artist).
All the songs in Drive are written by Bic and she plays an array of different instruments throughout the album. I understand that she produced the album as well at the age of just 21. That really is remarkable.
